Emotional Wellness

Along with healthy food, we all need meaningful connections, practical support, and spaces to feel welcome and valued in order to thrive. Emotional well-being is crucial for building strong communities through relationships, trust, and respect.

Emotional Wellness Peer Support Program

The Stop’s program offers low-stress opportunities for community members to connect, access helpful resources, and forge lasting relationships in a supportive environment during our weekly drop-in sessions at:

  • 1884 Davenport Rd.
  • 729 St Clair Ave. (Wychwood Open Door)

What to Expect

The program combines peer support, creative wellness activities, and practical resources to strengthen participants’ emotional well-being:

Peer Support and Resource Sharing

Visit our peer engagement tables to access essential information, ask questions, and learn about community resources. Topics vary throughout the year and include tax clinics, legal resources, free community events, organizing tips, navigating difficult conversations, and avoiding scams.

Creative Wellness Activities

Explore art and hands-on creative projects in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. Slow down, express yourself, and connect with others who share similar interests.

Personal Care Items

Access essential personal care items, such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, and socks. Seasonal items—including hats, gloves, and hoodies—may also be available. Take home a wellness zine of self-care tips, puzzles, and helpful resources.
